Rental Rates

  • All rates include unlimited mileage
  • All rentals are subject to the terms and conditions of the rental agreement
  • Minimum rental period is 24 hours

Driver Requirements

  • The driver, including the additional drivers must be aged between 23-74 and in full possession of a valid driving license with at least 1 year qualified driving experience
  • An international drivers license is required for licenses printed in a non-roman alphabet
  • Drivers aged between 23-25 years will be subject to a young driver's fee. Details are available upon request

Delivery & Collection

  • A delivery and collection service is available. Details are available upon request.

Fuel

  • All vehicles are provided with a full tank of petrol and must return the same. For vehicles not returned full of petrol, a refueling services charge will apply.

Cross Border Rental into Malaysia

  • A daily surcharge is applicable for vehicles being taken into Malaysia. Details are available upon request.
  • Vehicles are strictly prohibited form being driven into Thailand
  • Vehicles can be returned to Malaysia and a one-way drop-off fee will apply. Details are available upon request

Terms of Payment

  • Avis accepts the following credit cards for payment: American Express, Diners Club, MasterCard and Visa
  • Payment can also be made by an Avis Voucher or charge card

Extension of Rental

  • Should an extension of the rental beyond the agreed return date and time be required, the customer must inform Avis immediate so insurance coverage can be extended accordingly.

Special Equipment

  • Special equipment such as child seats or satellite navigation is available. Details are available upon request.

Insurance

  • Rates include third party liability and property damage.
  • Renter is liable for all damages to the Avis vehicle. Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) can be purchased to waive this liability to an insurance excess. Details are available upon request.
  • Renter is liable for cost of replacement vehicle or parts of it if the vehicle is stolen. Theft protection (TP) can be purchased to waive this liability to an insurance excess. Details are available upon request.
