Re-fuelling your car rental
Avis is working hard to minimise the impact of the UK fuel shortages on its customers. We would like to reassure customers that we are prioritising existing bookings and have vehicles available throughout the UK.
Considering the current fuel shortages, we are aware that some customers may be unable to re-fuel their vehicle before returning it. We have therefore temporarily reduced the cost of re-fuelling vehicles to £1.49 per litre (petrol) and £1.52 per litre (diesel).
Due to the current fuel shortage across the UK some of our locations are unable to supply a car with a full tank of fuel when collecting the vehicle but will provide a car with a tank with 50%+ on car collection. This is dependent upon location and availability of fuel within the local area so, please speak to our rental team when you collect the car for confirmation of the fuel level supplied in your rental vehicle on this occasion.
