Designed to offer some of the benefits of vehicle ownership without the hassle of a purchase, the Avis MiniLease product is ideal for those looking to access a dedicated vehicle for an extended period.
So, whether you are “in-between” cars or are an international contractor working for an extended period, Avis MiniLease is the perfect alternative to financing a vehicle.
Freedom to Choose
Take advantage of the Avis MiniLease option and benefit from a host of features specially designed with your mid-term rental convenience in mind.- Choose your rental period: the Avis MiniLease is defined as a dedicated rental vehicle provided for a period between 3 and 11 months. (New contracts are offered after 11 months).
- Choose your own vehicle: as the renter, you have the choice of the make, model and colour of your car from the extensive Avis fleet, subject to availability.
- Monthly electronic invoicing, if required.
- Accessories: should you require a tow bar, cycling rack, Bluetooth or even GPS, Avis MiniLease will fit your specified accessory. (Accessories are for the renter's own expense).
- Vehicles can be rented on either a credit card or single voucher (for account holders).
- Renters must be over the age of 21 and in possession of an unendorsed driver’s licence that has been valid for a minimum of 1 year.
- Rental terminates in the event of a theft, write-off or if the odometer reaches 35 000 km.
- Rates offered are guaranteed for the duration of the rental contract.
Value-added service
As part of the Avis pledge to provide you with a service offering that makes your life easier, Avis MiniLease customer's can benefit from:
- Preferential pricing.
- Free vehicle delivery and collection, within reason.
- 3 000 km free per month.
- Dedicated customer support through the Avis MiniLease customer support team.
- Vehicles can be returned at any time, after three months, no extra cost.
- Customers benefit from Avis Rent a Car's 24 hour roadside assistance.
- A loan vehicle: in the event of maintenance and/or repairs, Avis MiniLease will immediately provide a replacement vehicle for the duration. On completion, customers are asked to leave their loan vehicle at the panel beater or workshop for Avis to collect.
- Each vehicle may have three additional drivers at no extra charge (drivers must hold a licence for more than a year).
